Windows 10 activation code recovery

If you need to reset Windows 10 from Enterprise back to Professional which came with the device, there are just a few simple steps to follow.

If your device came with a pre-Windows 10 version, you will not be able to use this to activate Windows 10.

• Open a Command Prompt (Does not need to be Administrator)
• Type the following:
• wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
• Select and copy the 25 digit key to the clipboard
• Click Start > Settings > System > About
• Click Change the product key or upgrade your version of Windows
• On the Activation Screen click Change Product Key
• Paste the key from the clipboard and click Next
